Where are your Data Centres?
We have two Level (3) Communication Sites @ Goswell Road and Braham Street (angel tube and Aldgate east tube). We also have a Data Centre in Docklands a Tier 3 DC run by Global Switch.
We have one DC in Park Royal and our last DC is Slough Interchange which is less expensive than inner London sites.
How much notice do we need to provide to access the Data Centre?
1 Hour - unless you have a Full Rack.
Is there a remote reboot port?
Yes, 1 x APC remote reboot port is always included
Is there KVM over IP available?
Yes, remote Keyboard Video Mouse control is available. It costs £15 per month per device.
I assume the included support is hardware only?
When you are using a dedicated server the included support is hardware only, we can support your operating systems at an additional cost.
IP addresses - what is included? What are additional costs if any?
You can have as many IP addresses as you want subject to RIPE justification, we do not charge for IP addresses.
What is target SLA we can expect for attending server issues and replacing parts; and what is expected SLA for complete server replacement if a bad issue (i.e. how long before we have a server available to us with an operating system image we can start to work on)
1 hour response 4 hour fix on hardware failures or replacement if needed guaranteed under SLA.
Do your Dedicated Servers come with software or hardware RAID?
I assume we'd have root access on the box and SSH access?
Any difference in cost for Windows Server 2008 versus Server 2003?
NO extra cost
What are the differences between managed and dedicated services?
If we are managing a server we are supporting the hardware and operating software
If we are giving a dedicated server service it means we are PROVIDING the hardware and it is our responsibility but the operating system is the clients responsibility.
What are the parking restrictions at Level (3) Braham Street and is it in the congestion zone?
It is not in the congestion zone. There is no parking reserved at the data centre however there is always on street parking available at the rear of the building on Camperdown Street. On street parking costs £3 per hour Mon-Fri 09.00 - 17.30 and is free outside of those hours.

What is the bandwidth at your location?
We have a total of 6Gbps of upstream Internet Bandwidth, clients standard internet connection speed is 100Mbps, but we can also provide 1Gbps connections
How would they connect in, what is your prefered method?
Any way that suits them, Citrix ICA or RDP are both fine, in fact anything that works on TCP/IP
Do you offer email filtering and archiving?
Yes we can offer you this
What internet speed would they need, how do we work this out?
As stated above our standard client connection is 100Mbps

In Central London
How are your engineers vetted?
